Dissertation defense of Andargachew Mekonnen Gezmu

On 18.04.2023 the first dissertation defense in the AG DKE took place this year: Andargachew Mekonnen Gezmu successfully defended his dissertation on "Subword-Based Neural Machine Translation for Low-Resource Fusion Languages". The doctoral committee consisted of the chairman Prof. Dr. Gunter Saake, the reviewers Prof. Dr. Andreas Nürnberger, Prof. Dr. Ernesto William De Luca and Prof. Dr. Michael Gasser as well as the committee member Prof. Dr. Stefan Schirra.
