Research Topics
- Cross lingual and Multilingual Information Retrieval
- Arabic Text Searching
- CLIR Interactive Tools
- Word sense Disambiguation
I am interested in enhancing and finding new ways of retrieving Arabic content in web, dealing with its complexity that impede its retrieval. Furthermore, I am interested in Cross language information retrieval between Arabic and other languages. This research interest led me to the study of different models of information retrieval, machine learning, Word sense disambiguation, corpora linguistic and natural language processing. I am also interested in building better tools to help people understand and use complex cross information retrieval environments.
