Andreas Nürnberger visited from 21.-25.11.2011 the Royal School of Library and Information Science in Copenhagen (DK). The visit took place in context of the MUMIA networking program. Further information can be found here.

The 6th International Conference on Soft Methods in Probability and Statistics (SMPS 2012) will take place on 4.-6.10.2012 in Konstanz, Germany.

On 15.11.2011, Sebastian Stober has successfully defended his dissertation with the topic "Adaptive Methods for User-Centered Organization of Music Collections".

The Data and Knowledge Engineering Group (DKE) around Prof. Andreas Nürnberger welcomes three new colleagues working on third-party funded positions. They will be part of the projects "Docear" and "SciPlore".
